Execution Review

Trade Expectancy Calculator From Csv

Trade expectancy is the average realized result per completed trade in the selected export. It combines win frequency and payoff size in one number.

What to measure

Divide total realized P/L by completed trades, while retaining win rate, average winner, and average loser so the source of the result remains visible.

A repeatable workflow

Exclude rows with blank realized P/L, reconcile the remaining count, calculate the average, and compare equal-length samples rather than isolated days.

Common mistake

A positive expectancy from a tiny sample is not a forecast. Outliers and changing trade size can dominate the result.

Use these measurements as an educational review of recorded executions, not as a prediction or trading recommendation.
